Getting to the Hav by Public Transportation

We are about five blocks from the Davis Square MBTA stop on the Red Line. Take the Red Line towards Alewife to the Davis Square T stop. As you come up from the T, follow the signs to College Ave. Walk to your right up College Ave., away from Davis Sq. Havurat Shalom is 113 College. It is a yellow house on the right, in between a house with law offices and a former Masonic temple.

We are also on the 94 and 96 MBTA bus routes.

From the north on 93 S:

Take 93 South to the exit for (just after Malden exit) Route16, Revere. Get off the exit ramp and cut across a couple of lanes until you are in the rightmost lane. Bear right at the light away from Route 16. Go straight through the next light (across Mystic Ave.) on to Harvard Ave. (see storage rental place and gas station on your left as you come on to Harvard Ave.). Continue on Harvard Ave. (which changes name to Warner) until you come to the Powderhouse rotary. Go 180 degrees around on to College Ave. (passing 3 other spokes off the rotary, you'll see a small sign for Davis Sq.). Havurat Shalom is 113 College Ave. It is a yellow house on the left. When you turn onto College Ave., there is a park on the left, then an apartment building, then a former Masonic Temple, and then Havurat Shalom.

From the south on 93 N:

Take 93 North to EXIT 29 (Somerville/Everett 28/38). From off-ramp, follow sign to Somerville/Medford. At bottom of ramp (you'll see the Tage Inn on your right), go straight through the traffic light and under the highway. Follow sign to 38N (Medford/Lawrence) and merge with right-lane traffic. Follow 38 N (which is also Mystic Ave.) past signs for Rt. 16 and Rt. 93 N and past Burger King on left. At the intersection with Staples and Dunkin Doughnuts on right, there's a set of lights and a left-turn only lane, turn left onto Harvard. Take Harvard (which changes name to Warner) to the Powderhouse rotary. Go 180 degrees around on to College Ave. (passing 3 other spokes off the rotary, you'll see a small sign for Davis Sq.). From Mass Pike and Route 2 East:

From the Mass Pike, take exit 14, which is Route 95 and is also called Route 128 North. Take 95/128N to Route 2 East. Take Route 2 East. Exit left onto Route 16, also called Alewife Brook Parkway, in Cambridge. Just before this exit, the highway will go down to 2 lanes. You'll pass a bowling alley and a Cambridge Gateway Inn on the right. If you come to the Fresh Pond rotary, you went too far. Stay on Route 16, going across Mass Ave. Make a right on to Broadway, which is an intersection with a light. (If you come to a rotary, you went too far on Route 16). Stay on Broadway through Teele Square. You will come to the Powderhouse rotary. There is a stop sign at the rotary.
